Freight charges are based on volume or weight, whichever is the greater.The volume is calculated by
multiplying the dimensions of the parcel (length x breadth x height in cm), and dividing by 4000 for
roadfreight, and 5000 for airfreight. This is standard throughout the industry.

THE ABOVE RATES EXCLUDE Value Added Tax (VAT).

Insurance: Goods are not automatically insured and will not be covered unless insurance is requested
and the premium paid on national shipments. However, the company has transit insurance covering
shipments transported throughout the Peninsula. This will cover shipments up to a value of R 10,000
should the vehicle overturn and goods are forcibly taken, or there is forced entry when stationery. This
covers loss only.
We reserve the right to charge for packaging materials used to secure consignments prior to shipping, in order to
cover our costs.

Specials: R 4.00 p/km is charged based on a return trip for areas outside the Peninsula, and country
areas as stated in the rate card.
