'Jul i Juli!' - That's Swedish for 'Christmas in July'

That's Swedish for 'Christmas in July'

Whether you are attending a 'Jul i Juli' event, betting on the Vodacom Durban July at Greyville, or adherring to the call by the SA Savings Institute to "Tighten your Savings Belts"for the July National Savings Month - and beyond, one thing is for sure: we have turned the corner and the days are getting longer, lighter earlier, darker later, and soon, warmer too!

This time of year when it is bitterly cold, some of us long for the 'warmth ' of feelings associated especially with Christmas - feelings ofbelonging, love, caring, togetherness. That is why some of us create opportunities midway through the year to share time & gifts with those dear to our hearts.

And if you cannot be with your loved ones for a mid-year Winter Christmas, you can at least still Citi-Sprint them gifts!

REMEMBER ...

We put time back in your day

Services by Citi-Sprint include a 60 - 90 minute express peddler service within the CBD and to the Waterfront, serviced by a combination of bicycles, scooters and vans. Our same day service across the Peninsula takes care of all those urgent deliveries.

Deliveries of a time-sensitive nature that cannot wait for a scheduled round are accommodated by our specials service - a dedicated driver will courier your goods within a 2-3 hour timeframe or sooner, depending on the request. We will queue for you at the bank, the Embassy or SARS, and even collect your post and do your banking daily, should you need assistance in any of these service areas.

We also offer national and international courier, and road freight.

... and take some worries away

Citi-Sprint is on call 7 days a week, including public holidays. Citi-Sprint does not get sick, does not take leave, have vehicle accidents or anystaff issues. We take the hassle out of your life to allow you to focus on your core business. We even fill the gaps - we will 'temp' when your own driver gets ill, takes leave, goes on strike or writes the company van off!

Outsourcing one's non-core business has become the norm in most businesses today. This is wherewe add enormous value to your organization and bottom-line!

NB: Please bear in mind

  • PO Box deliveries are not physically possible; they only apply to shipments sent via the SA Post Office.
  • Telephone numbers and clear and complete physical addresses on waybills can be the difference between us meeting your deadline and missing it, creating a potential crisis. Company names, in addition to contact names, are essential in the event of a business delivery.
  • Should you be unclear on which 'Service box' to tick, please enter your required deadline clearly under'SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS', and we will use this as a guidelinein selecting the most appropriate service for you.
  • Collections that fall outside the general Peninsula/Metropolitan area may be requested via the Collection request facility on our re-vamped website; alternatively mail the details to our national department on nino@citisprint.co.za or csprint@citisprint.co.za
  • We recommend that collections of an urgent nature be confirmed with a telephone call, particularly should you not receive any response to your e-mail within half an hour.

In regard to deadline deliveries, especially tender documents or any other submission-related shipments; please contact us with any questions or general queries you may have.

Security alert

As a result of recent new IATA regulations, effective 1 June 2009, descriptions of the contents of your shipments, specifically on a national basis, have now become even more crucial. Without a description, or with an unclear description, national carriers are permitted to refuse transportation of consignments at their discretion.

The crackdown in this regard started post 9/11 and has been stepped up in anticipation of stricter security measures all-round, especially with the FIFA 2010 World Cup just around the corner.
