This is an inner-city service available in the Cape Town CBD, and is ideal for banking, collecting post, SARS, deliveries to magistrates’ offices and to embassies and consulates involving travel document applications.

Where queueing is involved, the charge is double the relevant rate.

This service is perfect for those ultra-urgent consignments that cannot wait for a scheduled collection on our normal rounds. A dedicated driver will deliver within a 1 – 3 hour period or sooner, depending on the request and destination.

Ordering Procedure and Policies for Citi-Sprint’s Specials Service

Ordering Procedure

Placing an express delivery with Citi-Sprint is easy, here’s how you do it:

1. Phone (021) 511 3105 or email specials@citisprint.co.za and provide us with the collection and delivery details (company name, street address and cell number).
2. We will provide you with a price over the phone or via email based on the distance of the delivery.
3. Once you have accepted, we will dispatch a driver.
4. Both you and the receiver of the parcel will get an sms, with a link to real-time online tracking of the driver.
5. No paperwork for the collection or the delivery is needed. Everything will be done electronically, on a handheld device.

Cancellation Policy

If a delivery is cancelled before a driver is assigned there will be no cancellation fee.

If a delivery is cancelled within 5 minutes of a driver being assigned there will be no cancellation fee.

In the event where a delivery is cancelled after 5 minutes of a driver being assigned, 50% of the total delivery will be charged.

In the event of a driver getting to the collection point and the delivery is cancelled, 50% will be charged.

If the driver arrives at the collection point and waits more than 30 minutes before the delivery is cancelled, the full fee will be charged.

Our same-day deliveries to these destinations at standard rates have been very popular with our clients over the years, since they offer a prompt yet cost-effective option for non-urgent deliveries.

Why pay a small fortune for a same-day when we do it at standard rates? Items collected in the course of the morning, will be delivered in the Peninsula during the course of that same afternoon. Collections need to be requested by 11h00.

Requests for collection in the afternoon need to be placed by 15h30, and deliveries will be done during the course of the following morning:

Consignments leave the hub each working day at 7h30. Any items collected during the day that are destined for these areas, will connect with the next morning Country departure.
